Description: The goal of this project is to assist the Department in reducing pedestrian crashes at midblock locations in Florida. This project will conduct spatial analysis to identify specific arterial corridors that are prone to pedestrian crashes and recommend specific pedestrian treatments to be installed at these locations. This project will also develop specific guidelines to assist in selecting the corridors and the specific pedestrian treatments for improving pedestrian safety.
Miami Beach Citywide Pavement Marking Study

Description: The main objective of this study are to evaluate the visibility and the existing durability of the crosswalks and bicycle lanes in the City of Miami Beach, Florida. This project is conducted to identify and prioritize the crosswalks and bike lanes at signalized intersections and road segments, respectively, for restoration. All the crosswalk and bike lane pavement markings along 15.7 miles of roadway corridors in the City of Miami Beach are to be evaluated based on their visibility and durability.
